I don’t have horses but had a blast guiding students to write on a horse farm two summers ago. Horses. Farm Animals. Art. Writing. Writing Games. Finishing a book. It was a perfect combination for a summer camp.
Making writing fun and active inspires and strengthens young writers. I hope so much you’ll find this website useful as you peruse and gather ideas to motivate your own writers and guide them to becoming comfortable and confident at writing.
A Little Bit About Me
My name is Angie Marino and I’ve been teaching language learners for 20+ years in very diverse settings. For the past 7 years, I’ve been teaching year round writing camps and workshops for Grades K-5 all the while home-schooling my own 4 children. Read my full teaching background here!
Most recently, I created this website to serve as a resource for parents and teachers. My hope is to help you make writing fun for your children and students.
